Venue certification
Bond, monthly fee, badge, and what certification does not change.
Every venue that trades Stock Tokens on Robinhood Chain is measured, whether or not it applies for anything. Certification is an optional, public commitment by a venue; it does not change how the venue is measured or ranked.
Requirements
- A $PRGE bond, posted to the certification contract. The bond size is a governed parameter.
- A monthly fee paid in USDG. The fee is a governed parameter.
- Inclusion in the certified-venue set, which is maintained by governance.
What the venue receives
- The "Perigee-verified" badge on the public dashboard and a
isCertified(venue)view that integrators can read. - Notification of its own scores before the public dashboard updates. Not before the on-chain report — reports are public on posting.
What certification does not change
- The score. Certified venues are measured with the same methodology as every other venue.
- Publication. A certified venue's score is public whether it is good or bad.
- Ranking.

Bond slashing
The venue bond can be slashed by governance if the venue is found to have:
- Generated trades intended to move its own score (wash trading, self-matching).
- Misrepresented its contracts, fee logic or ownership in the certification application.
Lapse and exit
- If the monthly fee is not paid, the badge is removed at the end of the paid period. Scores continue to publish.
- A venue may exit certification; the bond is returned after an unbonding period, less any slashed amount.
Fees
Certification fees are routed to the fee collector: 60% to buyback-and-burn of $PRGE, 40% to the treasury. See $PRGE.
